FIRST EDITIONS of these two works on zoology and mineralogy almost always found together. In the second work Madan calls for a preliminary gathering of 2 blanks, a title and an unnumbered leaf of index that should belong between pp.112 & 113. In this copy the second blank is substituted by a longitudinal title-leaf. Madan 2562 and 2561; Wing L-3246 and L-3245.
