Provenance: Archibald Philip Primrose, 5th Earl of Rosebery (1847-1929, Durdans bookplate and small stamps, his sale Sotheby's 26 June 1933, lot 165).
THE ROSEBERY COPY OF THESE RARE ILLUSTRATIONS BY PFORR to accompany Hünersdorf's Anleitung zu der natürlichsten und leichtesten Art Pferde abzurichten (Marburg, 1790).
