4 volumes, 4° (234 x 140mm). Engraved title in each volume, 135 engravings, 64 in two states, one of these hand-coloured. (Some spotting, folding table in vol. II with tears and repair at folds, a few marginal dampstains, D5 in vol. IV torn with loss affecting a few words.) Contemporary straight-grained blue morocco gilt, gilt edges (extremities rubbed). Provenance: Ackermann (bookseller's ticket on pastedowns) -- Earl of Westmorland (bookplates).
A FINE EXTRA-ILLUSTRATED COPY, with the full-page engravings in two states, one of these hand-coloured. The second volume and supplement are largely dedicated to angling. Westwood and Satchell p. 76; cf. Schwerdt I, p.133. (4)
