Richly enamelled inside and out with crowded court scenes bordered in ribbon-tied symbols and auspicious beasts, including peacocks, fish, serpents and spotted deer, all on a white ground strewn with small vase-shaped figural vignettes, blossoms and butterflies, a large roundel in the center edged in gilt fretwork and all below gilt-ground borders inside and out
