PATENT 19460 RICHARD'S CHRONOSPHERE, made up of twelve colour printed gores laid on a metal sphere, with graduated equatorial and Greenwich meridian, the ecliptic ungraduated, the oceans with ocean currents, steamship routes and cable lines, the continents with nation states variously and delicately shaded and showing rivers, towns and cities (some minor discolouration), the brass finial with curved and pierced hour hand to read against the stamped hour scale on the chamfered horizon, raised on a brass semi-circular support, stamped BTE S.G.D.G., on a tapering fluted brass column to the drum-shaped brass plinth base housing the clockwork mechanism, the base stamped MADE IN FRANCE 128
