Annin made up of twelve hand-coloured engraved paper gores and two polar calottes, with north polar hour dial, graduated equatorial and ecliptic and ungraduated meridian, the oceans with an analemma, the continents with shoreline heavily outlined in green, some nation states delicately shaded in green and yellow and pink, showing towns, cities, rivers, mountains and the Great Wall of China;
the celestial JOSLIN'S Six Inch Celestial Globe From the best Authorities GILMAN JOSLIN Boston 1840 made up of twelve hand-coloured engraved paper gores and two polar calottes laid to the celestial poles, with graduated equatorial, equinoctial colure and ecliptic with twilight zone, the constellations depicted by finely engraved and variously coloured mythical beasts and figures and scientific instruments, with stars to five orders of magnitude, some labelled with Greek characters;
