a built up hull painted with a red bottom and black topsides with painted veneer decks, and detailed with deck and cabin structures, bridge, doors, running lights, deck railings, bollards, deck lights, hatches, funnel, ventilators, boats on davits, docking wheel and other details. Displayed on a pair of brass pedestals on a mahogany board.

Henry Ford II was launched on March 1st 1924, she was later converted to a self-unloader. The FORD got the 1973 season off to an early start by sailing about March 1st on the Toledo to Detroit coal service. The HENRY was a good looking ship and known for the odd rhythm of her diesels.
