Woodcut device on title, 2 folding woodcut maps, 5 large illustrations in the text, with the final colophon leaf. Late 17th-century calf, flat spine and sides with a double fillet border (head of spine and upper hinge worn). Provenance: shaved ownership inscription, dated 1598, on A1r and several marginalia in his hand - unidentified armorial bookplaste with motto 'Avancez' - L.A. Burd (armorial bookplate). Adams C53.
