Title within a fine woodcut historiated border (lacks, according to Adams, a-h6, these leaves not mentioned in the Table of Contents, lacks the blank HH4, title and a few margins very lightly stained). 19th-century roan-backed cloth, gilt spine (rather rubbed). Provenance: Benigno Fasani, 1706 (ownership inscription on title) - L.A. Burd (armorial bookplate). FIRST EDITION of Vettori's recension. Adams C1639.
