The Giudecca, Venice, looking towards the church of San Giorgio Maggiore

We are grateful to Dario Succi for confirming the attribution to the Master of the Langmatt Foundation Views (written correspondence 22 December 2005).
Professor Succi has recently suggested that this anonymous master may be identified with Apollonio Domenichini, who enrolled in the Fraglia in 1757. He dates this picture to c. 1750.
