a rare large printed fan, the leaf a hand-coloured etching satirising the counter-revolutionaries including Cardinal Colier, General d'Aub*[Aubin], Chancelier, Seguier, Calonne, le Prince de Conde and the Bishop of Spire, the verso with the words of the song Le Triomphe de l'Abbe Maury, with wooden sticks,--15in. (39cm), French, circa 1790 (leaf split at fold by guardstick)
