In the neoclassical style, the white ground finely painted with an ovoid cartouche, one depicting Venus and Mars, the other with a scantily clad maiden being untied by a man, surrounded by a gilt dotted relief band and tooled elaborate gilt ornaments on a light blue ground, the reverse with a large bouquet of natural flowers, the square foot and upper border with gilding in slight relief and light blue bands
