Theodor Heiden (1853-1928) became a silversmith in 1880. From 1881-1900 he worked together with designer Anton Seder. In 1882 he opened the doors of his own workshop and in 1897 he was appointed as Royal silversmith.

Fritz von Miller (1840-1921) has been a professor at the school of design in Munchen for 44 years. Numerous silversmiths were teached by this skilled man in the late 19th and early 20th century.
