Each with rounded rectangular top above four graduated drawers, on turned tapering feet, one top drawer fitted with divisions and a later mirror, the handles replaced, one chest with Pope and Sons, Hammersmith depository label printed 'Mrs Eyre', the other chest with chalk inscription on the reverse 'do not stand on legs...', the tips of the feet later
