The front engraved with colonial buildings, the top and back with temples, the sides with figures of Indian gentleman, all within foliate borders, with silver beaded swing handle to the cover, with English assay marks and maker's intials 'I.S.', the interior later velvet-lined and fitted with three cut-glass canisters and covers
7 in. (18 cm.) high; 10¾ in. (27.5 cm.) wide; 6 in. (15 cm.) deep
