With keyless lever movement, the white enamel dial with Roman numerals, the front of the case set with an oval Swiss enamel of the Khedive of Egypt, within chased foliate border, the reverse with applied crown and Egyptian cypher, with accompanying manuscript note stating - 'Watch given to G.M.R. Turbutt by Prince Hussein of Egypt A.D. 1900, the portrait is that of the prince's father Khedive of Egypt'
