The present bronze is a reduction of the pair of monumental tigers which guard the entrance to Nassau Hall at Princeton University, a gift of the class of 1879. Proctor authorized the Gorham Foundry to produce bronze reproductions of the Princeton Tiger in two sizes: 9 inches and 22 inches long.
