Lot Essay

Gill & Reigate claimed circa 1910 to 'have the largest stock of genuine antiques in London' and that 'particular attention has been given to reproductions' (P. Agius, British Furniture 1880-1915, 1978, p. 146).
They were dealers and manufacturers who advertised antique of Georgian and Regency design.
