A Chinese blue and white tureen, cover and stand
Mid 18th Century
Of oblong octagonal shape, painted with two pheasants perched on promontory rockwork among flowering branches of peony and prunus in a fenced garden, the trellis diaper band at the rim enriched with four floral clusters, applied with washed-blue lion-mask handles and lotus-stem handle (small chip to the finial)
