"Strong hoisin, soy and Asian spice notes but this is finally beginning to thin just a bit after a long run of drinking perfectly. The flavors remain the concentrated, sweet, very rich essence of mature burg with superb length and quality depth though it no longer possesses the detail and finesse it once did. This is still a wonderful wine but most bottles in my experience have seen their best days as the alcohol is now showing strongly and it should be drunk over the next 5 to at most 10 years. Consistent notes." BH
