With 75 mm. diameter flat white enamel Roman dial, crossed minute track, subsidiary seconds ring, signed BROCKBANKS'/& ATKINS/LONDON/874, gold hands, Earnshaw escapement, cut-bimetallic balance with three double-screwed circular heat compensation weights, steel spring detent and blued steel helical balance, the top plate with repeat signature, brass bayonet-fixed dust cover and bowl to brass gimbal, three-tier box with drop-down handles to the sides and two vacant bone roundels to the front, the interior with paper retail label -- the box 148 mm. square; key
