The 100 mm. diameter silvered Roman dial with up/down and subsidiary seconds rings, signed Thomas Mercer/23108 and THOMAS MERCER LTD. ST.ALBANS. ENGLAND, blued steel hands, also numbered behind the dial, Earnshaw escapement, cut bimetallic balance with two cylindrical heat compensation weights, polished steel helical spring, steel spring detent, lacquered brass bowl numbered 55 and gimbal to two-tier box with glazed top panel, the upper section with plaque inscribed L.
