With circular base and under replaced glass dome, with scroll-sided plinth to the silvered Roman dial with blued steel Breguet hands, Retard/Avance regulation above, the eight day twin barrel movement with Garnier's frictional rest chaff-cutter escapement and countwheel strike on bell, the back plate signed P.G./Breveté and also with an applied retail plaque for SILVANI/A PARIS -- 9¾ in. (25 cm.) high over dome
