The case with moulded pediment and ebonised urn-shaped cistern cover flanked by diamond inlays, the bone dial with angled plates and Vernier scale, signed CALLAGHAN Conduit St./23a New Bond St. London, the trunk applied with a mercury thermometer -- 37½ in. (95 cm.) high
