Contemporary panelled calf, gilt spines with repeated thistle motif (spines and corner tips restored, spine labels and endpapers replaced). The three volumes are preserved together in a uniform brown morocco gilt box by Morrell, London, for Charles Sessler, New York, and were sold by Sotheby's, NY, the Library of George M. Pflaumer, 3 June 1997, lot 201. (3)
