Tasting Note: A vintage tailor made for Gruaud. Five notes, from opaque, packed with fruit in November 1990 to a softer, more mature, ripe-nosed fleshy mouthful eight years later and, most recently, though with a rich, now mature appearance and ripe, spicy bouquet, it had surprising grip and tannin. Last noted, albeit superficially, at a Farr Vintners' tasting, Oct 2001 ***(*) Soon - 2020 M.B.
