Half-length portrait of the courtesan holding a haori (outer coat) decorated with a paulownia crest, the names of her kamuro, Hagino and Ogino, inscribed beside her own, signed Utamaro hitsu, published by Ibaya Kyubei--good impression, trimmed top and bottom, faded, soiled, foxed and creased, upper corners rubbed, pin hole worming oban tate-e: 35.5 x 25.1cm.
