Meiji period (late 19th century), inscribed Sadamune in kinzogan
Honzukuri, iori-mune, toriizori, chu-kissaki with ayasugi hada forging pattern; tempered edge suguha of nioi with a small, rounded tip; horimono of Ushiwakamaru (Yoshitsune) and Benkei on Gojo Bridge on the omote side and a Buddhist standard on the ura; tang suriage with two holes and kiri file marks; no habaki; in shirasaya; 70.2.cm. long; motohaba 3.1cm.; sakihaba 2.3.cm.
