Kitae [forging pattern]: ko-itame with ji-nie and chikei, masame on the shinogi
Hamon [tempering pattern]: o-gunome midare of ko-nie in notare with deep nioi, kinsuji, ashi, sunagashi and some choji
Boshi [tip]: ko-maru with a long return and hakikake
Nakago [tang]: suriage with three holes (two plugged), sujikai file marks
Habaki [collar]: double, gilt-copper
Nagasa [length from tip to beginning of tang]: 72.4cm.
In shirasaya [plain wood storage scabbard] with attribution inscription written by Honma Junji (Kunzan)
