Arita ware, Kakiemon style, Edo period (late 17th century)
The globular bodies modelled in high relief with Hotei seated holding his treasure sack and painted in polychrome enamels over a clear glaze with scrolling vines and flowers, the spouts decorated with Chinese fans and the bases of the necks with formal lappet bands
