The ovoid body with a slender neck and "garlic-bud" mouth painted in polychrome enamels and gilt over a clear, crackled glaze and designed with alternating oval-shaped panels of seasonal landscapes and birds and flowers below a frieze of figures engaged in various activities, the neck designed with spiral bands of sparrows and wisteria, the shoulder painted with a profusion of chrysanthemums, the foot and mouth with geometric bands
