LATE MING DYNASTY, LATE 16TH/EARLY 17TH CENTURY
Raised on a solid hexagonal foot carved in shallow relief with flowers growing from rockwork, the rectangular body with a peach tree on one side and a pine tree on the other, both the handle and spout, which terminate in an animal-head, joined to the neck by a pierced medallion and carved with vaporous clouds which are repeated on the neck and cover, which are further decorated with shou medallions and bats, the stone of pale greenish-white color with some opaque white and darker mottling
