A RED LACQUER CORNER-LEG TABLE

Of rectangular form, the top finely incised with a dense wan diaper ground, the sides carved with a floral and foliate scroll above a narrow waist carved with key-fret design, the legs and apron carved with a dense design of ruyi-shaped swirling clouds and inlaid with small jade pieces carved as bats and stylized shou characters, with cusped and curvilinear spandrels, the legs terminating in ruyi-head feet
