The deep rounded sides decorated on the exterior with three different, alternating formalized foliate sprays separated by foliate arabesques, with a further formalized foliate spray in the center of the interior
4 in. (10.2 cm.) diam.

Lot Essay

A doucai bowl, also with a Yongzheng mark and of the period, with identical stylized foliated scroll motifs, but with different floral sprays, was sold at Sotheby's, London, 7-8 June 2000, lot 334.
