Each modelled as a large and small buddhistic lion seated atop an openwork pedestal, each large lion with a ribbon dangling from the jaws, the male with a paw resting atop an openwork brocade ball, the female with a paw resting atop a recumbent pup, and with a conical taperstick holder rising from one corner, covered with an ivory-colored glaze
