The first standing straight, feet apart with hands clasped in a simple robe painted blue with red tassels, the hair painted black and carved on the verso in a long braid ending at the back of the knees, square plinth with attached cylindrical peg for insertion; the lion standing on the hind legs, back arched, head drawn forward and low and the front legs held at the sides, painted principally in green pigment with red and white accents
