A Punch'ong Slip-Inlaid Bowl and Cover
Choson period (15th century)
Set on a high circular foot, the lower body round with high walls tilting inward and the upper section domed with recessed, flat top; both sections inlaid on the exteriors in white slip with bands of chrysanthemum florets between line borders and a band of grasses where the bowl and cover meet; the interior of the cover inlaid in white slip with bands of larger chrysanthemum florets, double-lines and stiff leaves, and the interior of the bowl impressed in the well with a chrysanthemum floret and incised with two parallel rings; the bowl and cover also decorated with a glossy, green-tinged clear glaze which ends at the wide foot rim
