Modelled as a grotto in a mountainside, with a figure of a bejeweled bodhisattva seated in rajalilasana in the interior, flanked by the figures of acolytes standing to either side of the grotto opening beneath overhanging boughs of pine and fruiting peach, all in shades of aubergine, turquoise, pale yellow and green, with areas of the figures' bodies left in the biscuit, traces of pigment
