A copper-red-glazed vase of similar shape, but of slightly larger size (16½ in. high), is illustrated in Collection of Chinese and Other Far Eastern Art, Yamanaka & Co., Inc., New York, 1943, no. 925, where it is described as langyao and dated to the Kangxi period.
