**A SMALL HARDSTONE-EMBELLISHED MOTTLED GREEN JADEITE BOX AND COVER

The shallow, unusual shaped cover carved in relief on top with a leafy branch of finger citron embellished in agate, coral and glass with an insect, a flower bud and a bat, the box of conforming outline, the interiors and base shallowly carved with further branches of finger citron highlighted in brown and gold lacquer, the opaque stone of milky pale green color
3 7/8 in. (9.9 cm.) long, wood stand
