The bodhisattva Avalokitesvara shown seated in lilasana, with right hand resting atop the right knee and left arm supported by a curved three-legged arm rest that continues around the back, with a pearl held in the left hand, wearing elaborate jewelry, a foliate crown centered by the figure of Amitabha Buddha, a scarf draped diagonally around the torso, a long shawl draped over the shoulders and wrapped around the arms, and a layered skirt embellished with further beaded chains, with traces of gold and red lacquer
