Ségur copie fait en 1880', silver-gilt easel frame with pierced ribbon and bow surmount

Lot Essay

Marie Charlotte de Ségur, daughter of Philippe, Comte de Ségur (1780-1873) and his wife, Antoinette Charlotte Le Gendre de Lucay (d. 1813), married Oscar, Marquis de Bonneval (1798-1873). A miniature of the sitter's mother with her brother Paul (1809-1888) by Jean-Urbain Guérin was sold Christie's, London, 7 December 2004, lot 314.
