MARK OF SG INTERLACED, JAUER (SILESIA), CIRCA 1720,
Cylindrical with hinged cover, fluted borders and detachable top with seated hound finial, the securing flap applied with a small coin, the upper sides chased with foliate scrolls, strapwork and tassels on a matted ground, the base inscribed with contemporary initials "MMR", 6¼ in. high (16 cm.), 9 oz.
