MARK OF RICHARD GURNEY & THOMAS COOKE, LONDON, 1739,
Fully marked around side, makers' mark repeated to base, lion passant inside cover, tapering sides on spreading foot, scallopped spout with leaf cap, upper junction of handle terminating in a shell & bead motif, later-engraved armorial to one side, 8¾ in. high (22 cm.), 24.75 oz.
