AN UNUSUAL VICTORIAN SILVER NOVELTY CREAM JUG,
APPARENTLY NO MAKER'S MARK, LONDON, 1881,
Modelled as a frog riding the back of an open-mouthed fish whilst spurring it on with a whip of bullrushes, on oval foot decorated with reeds, the foot engraved with a design registration lozenge for 20th.November, 1879, 4¾ in.high (12 cm.), 4.75 oz.
