The case with domed top surmounted by ten flambeau urn finials above a pierced brass balustrade, the sides with brass panels and oval glasses, with brass mouldings to the base raised on part-fluted toupie feet, the circular brass dial with silvered Roman chapter ring with arrow half hour markers, with foliate scroll engraving to the centre, pierced brass hands, the eight day movement with rectangular plates joined by five plain pillars, twin gut fusees with pivoted verge escapement with silk suspension, rack strike and trip repeat on bell, the plain back plate with pendulum locking bar, signed within an oval ring of punched circles CG FEUEREISEN/REVAL/NO 18 -- 22¼ IN.
