SAMARKAND, CENTRAL ASIA, 10TH CENTURY
On short foot, the white interior plain save for a small central continuous knot motif and a band of red and green stripes around the rim overlaid by a white slip stylised kufic inscription, the exterior plain white, repaired clean breaks
