of cupboard style, the interior with velvet lining, the double-doors each galleried to house six bottles with ground stoppers, five with chamois covers, paper content labels and majority with chemist's labels reading Taylor Brothers Chemists, 4 Vere Street, Cavendish Sq. Chemical Analyses conducted., the central section galleried section to house a further four similar but larger bottles and two drawers with bone knobs beneath, the upper drawer with compartments with handheld apothecary balance and weights, glass meausures, an bone spatula and paper parcels, the lower drawer with compartments for a glass mortar and pestle, two bottles with white-metal lids and three further bottles, a sliding door concealing a compartment in the rear with galleries for a further four bottles, the case with brass recessed handle, two escutcheons (one blank) and a key -- 27 x 22 x 17.8cm.
