Accompanied by an Extract from the Patek Philippe Archives confirming the manufacture of this watch in 1956 and its subsequent sale on September 24th of the following year with a leather strap. The present addition of the Patek Philippe/Gay Frères bracelet results in an unusual and attractive example.

Production of the reference 2584 was launched in 1958 and replaced by the reference 3435 in 1960. Very few examples of this reference in pink gold have appeared at auction. The model features a waterproof-style snap on back with a raised border fitting tightly into the case, hence protecting it against humidity.
