"Strawberry and crushed raspberry nose with beautifully defined and surprisingly supple flavors framed by a healthy dollop of pinot extract. The finish is especially intense and lasts for minutes and though this is well structured, everything is in perfect balance. Power without weight in a refined, elegant style. Another bottle showed a good deal more oak but while a bit more oak than I prefer, the extract is such that this should come around with time. Speaking of which, this is still very young and will need at least another 5 to 8 years to really be at its best. Consistent notes." BH
